COVID-19 UPDATE: Spot-on Laser and Tool Company Response Plan for the health of our customers and staff
In light of the heightened level of cases and concern relating to the spread of COVID-19 we ensure the utmost priority to the safety and wellbeing of employees, customers, suppliers and visitors. We will continue to monitor advice from Australian and New Zealand health and government authorities and the World Health Organisation and change our position if and when necessary.
Our goal is to continue business continuity and supply to minimise disruption and have implemented the following practices and protocol to service the needs of our network along with ensuring the health and well-being of our employees, customers, suppliers and visitors.
To our customers
We continue to monitor all communication on COVID-19 and ensure that all our practices and protocols are actioned by following all recommended hygiene practices and maintaining at least a 1.5m distance as per the guidance from public health and government authorities. During this period our 24-hour customer support line and emails will continue to operate as normal.
To our retailers
To minimise the risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19, Spot-on staff will no longer be visiting as a face to face call to our retail outlets effective Monday 23rd March 2020 and will review Monday 6th April 2020.
Exceptions may be made where and when required on a case by case basis. Should this occur, our staff will follow all recommended protocols in hygiene and social distancing practices given by the Australian and New Zealand health and government authorities and the World Health Organisation. Our phone lines and emails will operate as normal to assist with all enquiries and support, and our sales staff will continue to be in regular contact via phone with our retail partners.
Servicing and repairs
Our service departments are continuing to operate as normal and are following all recommended hygiene practices. We ask that if you are visiting one of our service centres to drop off or pick-up a service, that you please keep to the recommended hygiene and social distancing practices.
We also ask that if you are feeling unwell, that you do not visit our service centres and make alternate arrangements via a family member, friend or courier to drop off or pick-up the service.
We are continuing to monitor the situation daily and will follow the guidance from both public health and government authorities at all times.
