Homeline THE-1, Our New Entry-Level Rotary Laser

February 4 2015Homeline THE‑1 with Tripod and Staff

Just before Christmas, we mentioned that we'll have stuff to show you in 2015. Today, we have a new entry-level rotary laser being rolled out to stores: the Homeline THE‑1.

But even though we've priced it very affordably, we didn't skimp on its features. The Homeline THE‑1 includes some of the advanced technologies from our other rotaries higher up the food chain; tech that other comparable products in the market don't have.

For example, some of the other guys use a more rudimentary pendulum-based design for levelling in their entry-level units. Those products have to rely on gravity, basically. We've instead put in an automatic, motorised system, allowing the unit to auto‑level more precisely and accurately. So all you have to do is press the power button to turn it on, and the Homeline THE‑1 just sorts itself out, giving you a perfect horizontal line.

This system proves even more useful when you need to use its vertical mode. Rather than needing a separate bracket and manual setup by fiddling with screws and bubble vials, the Homeline THE‑1 just needs to be put on its side, and its sensors straightens the unit out, and you get a dead-vertical…vertical.

It's a very easy product. No hassle with very little prep work, giving you more time to get on with your actual work.

The Homeline THE‑1 also comes with a construction tripod and a 3‑metre staff, along with a premium dual‑sided detector, clamp, and glasses, so there's no immediate need to get any more accessories before you can get the most out of it. This is a complete kit, with all the basics and more, for $499. An amazing value for this price point.

And of course, you'll get the same two-free-calibrations-per-waranty-year that we offer on our other rotaries.

Your local stockist may already have it in stock or on display. Go check it out.

If you want to find out about the product specifications and instruction manual, they're here.
